With the holiday period upon us, will you be setting time aside over the Christmas and New Years break to reflect on the highs and lessons learnt over the previous calendar year.

Telstra Business Awards

The Telstra Business Award (established in 1992) recognises the success of small and medium size business in Australia and recognises the contribution that small and medium businesses make to the economy of Australia. The Telstra award program also seeks to assist small and medium sized business owners in developing success for their enterprise.

The Australian Business Excellence Awards

The Australian Business Excellence Awards are recognised as Australia’s premier business awards and have been celebrating business success in Australia for nearly 20 years. They present an opportunity for a broad range of businesses and organisations from across Australia to celebrate and showcase their excellence against internationally recognised business principles.

Telstra Business Women’s Awards

The Telstra Business Women’s Awards have become an integral part of the Australian business calendar, celebrating the achievements of some truly remarkable women. Past winners include some of Australia’s most talented business leaders whose career paths and individual achievements continue to inspire business people around the country.

Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards

The Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards is an international business plan competition created in 2006 by Cartier, the Women’s Forum, McKinsey & Company and INSEAD business school to identify, support and encourage projects by women entrepreneurs. Their mission: To identify and support initial-phase women entrepreneurs through funding and coaching, to foster the spirit of enterprise by celebrating role models in entrepreneurship and to create an international network of women entrepreneurs and encourage peer networking.

Dell Small Business Awards

These awards reward innovative small businesses for their smart use of technology. If you are an owner, president or chief executive of a company with 100 employees or less that has improved your customers’ experience by using technology in innovative ways, we want to hear about it – your story could make you a winner.

ActionCOACH My Business Awards

The ActionCOACH My Business Awards are a celebration of entrepreneurial excellence and encourages those in business to strive to succeed and to do the very best they can to achieve their goals.

Australian Home-Based Business Awards

The Australian Home-Based Business Awards offer a great opportunity for small businesses to gain recognition for their products and services. Australian Retailers Association Australian Retail Awards

City of Sydney Business Awards

The City of Sydney Business Awards are open to all businesses with fewer than 200 employees located in the City of Sydney’s 32 suburbs. National chain retail outlets, bank branches, etc, are not eligible. Locally owned franchise businesses may enter the Awards. It’s a credible, rewarding program that can boost your business. There are 20 business categories.

Brisbane Lord Mayor’s Business Awards

The LMBA rewards and celebrates businesses and individuals for their exceptional contributions to Brisbane’s emergence as Australia’s new world city. Nominations are sought for several Award categories including: business growth, corporate citizenship, employer of choice, sustainability in business, business innovation, new investment, business creativity, young business person of the year and business person of the year.

BrainLink Women of Achievement Award

There are women who have the unique capacity to balance their many varied roles in life, in work and in support of our communities. Nomination forms are published in all 17 Quest newspapers with almost 20,000 nominations received for over 4,200 businesses.

Australian Marketing Institute Awards

The AMI Awards for Marketing Excellence recognise and reward outstanding examples of marketing programs in accordance with best practice criteria in nominated categories. The winner of the prestigious AMI Marketing Program of the Year will be selected from the national category winners. This award will be made to the entry judged as the most outstanding marketing program across all categories. This is the highest accolade in marketing within Australia and provides outstanding profile and exposure to the achievements of the winning organisation.
